Animal Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) that utilizes the insertion of needles into specific points along the body to stimulate the nervous system, increase blood flow, and release hormones responsible for relieving inflammation and pain.

These combine to produce a healing response in the body. We use acupuncture to help treat many conditions, including arthritis, intervertebral disc disease, inflammatory bowel disease, urinary tract disease, cancer, and many others. We also use acupuncture as preventive medicine.

It is a safe, effective form of treatment that is commonly used in conjunction with other therapies but can also be used as a sole treatment. Acupuncture has been used in China to treat people and animals for thousands of years.
